Pasta with Sweet Corn
Ingredients:
- 200 grams macaroni pasta
- 1 medium size onion (chopped)
- 1/3 cup sweet corn kernels (boiled)
- 3-4 green chilies (chopped)
- 20-25 cloves garlic (chopped)
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp. tomato ketchup
- 2 tsp. mustard sauce
- 1/2 cup gouda cheese (grated)
- 1 tbsp. fresh cream
- 2 tsp. oregano (dried & crushed)
- 1 tbsp. parsley (dried & crushed)
- Salt to taste
- Water
Making Procedure:
Boil pasta with enough water for 10-12 minutes. Then drain the hot water and pour the cold water over it. Drain the water again and place the boiled pasta into a colander.
Heat oil in a pan and add garlic. Fry it for 30 seconds, add onion and green chilies. Fry for 5 minutes on low to medium heat. Add tomato paste, stir and fry for 2 minutes.
Then add sweet corn kernels and tomato ketchup. Stir well and cook it for 1-2 minutes on medium heat.
Now add boiled pasta, mustard sauce, gouda cheese, oregano, parsley and salt. Stir and mix well; cook it for a minute on low heat, then add fresh cream and mix well.
Remove from the heat and place it in a serving bowl. Spread a little amount of oregano and parsley for garnish.
Serve hot as a snacks.
