Thai Sesame Chicken
Ingredients:
- 250 grams boneless chicken (cut into cubes)
- 1 cup onion (chopped)
- 2-3 green chilies (chopped)
- 1 tbsp. ginger (finely chopped)
- 6-8 lime leaf (chopped)
- 1 1/2 tbsp. tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. lime juice
- 1 tsp. corn flour (dissolved in 2 tbsp. water)
- 1/2 tsp. white sesame seeds
- 1 tsp. sugar
- Salt
- 1/2 cup water
- Oil for deep frying
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. black pepper powder
- 1 1/2 tbsp. corn flour
- 1 1/2 tbsp. all purpose floor
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. lime juice
- A pinch of salt
Making procedure:
Marinade the chicken with all the ingredients of marinade list and keep it in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the marinated chicken pieces till both sides turn golden brown in color. Remove the chicken pieces from oil, cover it to keep warm.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in another kadai and fry onion till transparent. Add soy sauce and tomato ketchup. Stir it on low heat for 1-2 minutes. Now add ginger and fry it for a minute. Add dissolved cornflour and stir it for a minute.
Now add fried chicken and chopped lime leaves.
Stir it for a minute. Add salt, lime juice, sugar & green chilies, stir well and mix it. Add 1/2 cup water and cook it covered for 4-5 minutes on low heat or the gravy reaches to your desired consistency.

Remove from heat and place it into a serving bowl and sprinkle a pinch of sesame seeds and chopped lime leaves on the top of it.
