Capsicum Rice



Ingredients:

  •  250 gm basmati rice
  •  2 tbsp. garlic (chopped)
  •  1 small onion
  •  1 medium bell paper
  •  4-5 tbsp. oil
  •  2 tbsp. soy sauce
  •  1 tbsp.green chili sauce


Making Procedure:


At first wash basmati rice and soak in fresh water for 30 minutes.

Boil water in a pan. When the water starts boiling add soaked rice into it and cover it for 2-3 minutes. Then turn off the heat and keep it for 5 minutes with lid. Drain the water and spread the rice on a large plate.

Heat oil in a wok or kadai . Add garlic and fry for a minute on low heat. Then add onion and capsicum fry for 2 minutes.

Then add soy sauce, green chili sauce and mix it. Now add boiled rice, salt and mix it well. Cook it for 5 minutes on low medium heat.

Now capsicum rice is ready to serve.
